   Some basic support for running operations asynchronously is available
in GPGME.  You can use it to set up a context completely up to
initiating the desired operation, but delay performing it to a later
point.

Waiting For Completion

Waiting until an operation is completed.

Cancelling an Operation

Interrupting a running operation.

Hooking Up Into Idle Time

Doing something when nothing has to be done.
