NAME

SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION

Dia is used to create diagrams. Dia has a number of basic tools, like lines and boxes, but can also dynamically load "sheets". A sheet is a collection of tools that are used in a certain type of diagram.

Most diagram objects in Dia have "handles". Lines can be connected to these handles; this way, graph structures can be formed. When objects are moved or resized, the connections will follow the objects.

Diagrams drawn in Dia can be exported to a number of output formats, depending on what plugins are installed. Plugins for PostScript, EPS, CGM, HPGL, PNG, SVG, TeX PStricks macros, WPG, and .fig format are included.  

OPTIONS

-h, --help

Display a list of all command-line options.

-e OUTPUT, --export=OUTPUT

Export the first file given to the file OUTPUT. The output format is determined by the extension part of the filename OUTPUT.

--nosplash

Do not display a splash screen when starting Dia.
