NAME
3c5x9setup - setup program for the 3Com 3x9 cards.
SYNOPSIS
3c5x9setup
[options]
DESCRIPTION
3c5x9setup is a program that you can use to setup 3Com 3c5x9
series ethercards.
OPTIONS
These programs follow the usual GNU command line syntax, with long
options starting with two dashes (`-').
A summary of options is included below.
- -h, --help
-
Show summary of options.
- -v, --version
-
Show version of program.
- -V, --verbose
-
Verbose mode
- -D, --debug
-
Show Debug messages
- -a, --all
-
Print all registers
- -p, --base-address <port>
-
Specify port to use
- -E, --emergency-rewrite
-
Re-write a corrupted EEPROM
- -f, --force-detection
-
Force if card is busy
- -F, --new-interface <type>
-
Interface type to be used. This can be 10baseT, 10base2 or AUI.
- -P, --new-IOaddress, --new-base-address <port>
-
New base I/O address
- -H, --new-hwaddress <addr>
-
New base hardware address
- -Q, --new-irq <irq>
-
Specify interrupt number
- -w, --write-EEPROM <values>
-
Write to the EEPROMS with the specified values.
