euro-test - checks if your system is able to display eurosSYNOPSIS
euro-supportDESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the euro-test command. euro-test is a program that allows the user to test if euro support is correctly configured in your system. In order to do so it tests if the fonts installed provide the display of the euro symbol and if the keyboard is properly configured in order to output it.The euro-test programs checks the running environment and, depending on wether its the X graphic environment or the console (tex) environment. The program can also output a log that can be sent to the euro-support@packages.debian.org address in order for the maintainer to check why support has not been configured in the system after installation of this package.
This program is currently in testing phase so there might be quite some bugs lurking around. Also, since it might (slightly) change your environment in order to do the tests, some systems might need to reset the changes in order to revert to the state before the program was run.
In console, set the previous terminal configuration by running /etc/init.d/keymaps-lct.sh and /etc/init.d/console-screen.sh if you have the console-tools package installed.
