gaspell - GNOME front end to the aspell spell checking library

SYNOPSIS

gaspell [options]

DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the gaspell spell checker. This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.

gaspell is a graphical (gtk) front end to the aspell spell checking library.

OPTIONS

In addition to the regular gtk+ and gnome flags gaspell supports the following:

-d, --master=<file>: main word list file name
-p, --personal=<file>: personal word list file name
--repl=<file>: replacement list file name
--lang=<lang>: default language to use
--dict-dir=<dir>: location of the main word list
--data-dir=<dir>: location of the language data files
--ignore-repl: ignore commands to store replacement pairs
--dont-ignore-repl: don't ignore commands to store replacement pairs
--conf=<file>: main configuration file
--conf-dir=<dir>: location of main configuration file
--dict-host=<host.name.of.dict.server>: host to connect to to lookup definitions using dict protocol
--dict-port=<port>: port on which to connect to using dict protocol
--infile=<file>: file to check
