It allows configuration of four things: mouse type, the device to use, responsiveness and any additional arguments to be passed to gpm. You will be offered the chance to test the configuration.gpmconfig offers you the chance to run the gpm-mouse-test program which is designed to help you determine the type of your mouse and which device it attaches to. FILESgpmconfig reads and writes the configuration from /etc/gpm.conf. This file is usually created when the gpm package is installed for the first time. /etc/init.d/gpm reads the configuration from /etc/gpm.conf.DIAGNOSTICSNone.BUGSThere is no option to configure gpm's -l option, other than by using the append string.AUTHORMartin Schlulze <joey@debian.org> and James Troup <troup@debian.org>.
