NAME

wwwcount - a web page access counter

DESCRIPTION

This is an extremely versatile web page access counter written in C. You can display the number of hits in various styles for any number of pages, for any number of users. You can even display the time and date.

This man page is just a placeholder for now. The real documentation can be found in /usr/share/doc/wwwcount. You can ignore the sections about compilation and installation. It's already been done for you.

FILES

The locations of the various files have also changed to come into conformance with Debian policy. The cgi is now called wwwcount.cgi. and it is in /usr/lib/cgi-bin. rgb.txt and the digit files are in /usr/lib/wwwcount. The configuration file is /etc/wwwcount.cfg. The directory in which to create user data files is /var/lib/wwwcount. The log files are in /var/log/wwwcount.
