The Python Documentation for Debian ----------------------------------- Python is a scripting language. This package contains the official documentation for Python in the HTML format. The HTML files are installed in /usr/share/doc/python2.1/html/ and are available via doc-central, dhelp or dwww. The Info files are contained in the python2.1-doc-info package and available via the Info system. Note that the info format is not generated from the upstream source, but taken from the website http://www.python.org/doc/.
