Two utilities from the scummvm-tools package is included in this package, namely 'extract.c' and 'simon2mp3.c', which can be used to compress the speech files for various SCUMM games and Simon the Sorcerer 2. To create the binaries, make sure you've got the 'make' and 'gcc' packages installed, copy /usr/share/doc/scummvm/examples somewhere, and chdir there. Then simply run 'make', and after a few seconds you should have the binaries you need. Refer to /usr/share/doc/scummvm/README.gz for usage instructions. You'll need oggenc or lame (or both). The former is in the 'vorbis-tools' package, while the latter isn't in Debian at all. You can get Debian packages of lame from , though. -- Tore Anderson
