wwwcount for DEBIAN ---------------------- This is the first release of 2.5. WARNING: the config file format has changed drastically. Please read the documentation for details and manually convert your old config file if you are upgrading. Jaldhar H. Vyas , Wed, 13 Oct 1999 10:55:30 -0400 This is the first release of wwwcount 2.4 and the author considers it a beta as he has made many bug fixes. Let me know if you run into any problems and I'll forward them to him. Also note the new maintainer address Jaldhar H. Vyas , Wed, 22 Oct 1997 01:01:22 -0400 Something to watch for: The config script will fail if your cannonical hostname doesn't have at least two periods in it i.e. 'foo.net' . The fix is to just put in any string when prompted then after installation manually edit /etc/wwwcount.cfg and put the real hostname in it. The location of files has changed pretty drastically to come in line with Debian policy. See the FILES section of the man page for further details You can download the latest version of wwwcount from http://www.fccc.edu/users/muquit/src/ The latest version of the Debian package will be available from http://www.braincells.com/pub/debian/Local Jaldhar H.
