xfonts-cmex-big5p (0.1-5) unstable; urgency=low

  * Added code in postinst to rmdir /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/chinese
    if it is empty or just contains font.dir and fonts.alias
    (Closes: Bug#54994).
  * [debian/control]: Removed an extraneous colon at the end of the
     Build-Depends line (Closes: #76505).
  * Changes for the new XFree86 4.0.1 packages:
      - "Depends: xutils, xbase-clients" since mkfontdir is in the former
        and update-fonts-alias is in the latter.
      - Build-Depends on xutils instead of xbase-clients since bdftopcf
        is now in xutils.

xfonts-cmex-big5p (0.1-4) unstable; urgency=low

  * Renamed package from xfntbig5p-cmex24m to xfonts-cmex-big5p.
  * Use new upstream source which includes the resized cmex16m font.
  * [debian/copyright]: Fixed upstream source location (closes: Bug#38153).
  * cmex16m.pcf.gz and cmex24m.pcf.gz are now installed in
    /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc instead of the incorrect
    /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/chinese.  Also, dh_installxfonts is used,
    hence, the old "kludges" in postinst and postrm are history.
  * Standards-Version: 3.1.1 -- FHS-compliancy, Build-Depends field, etc.
  * Updated Wei-Lun Chao's e-mail address.

xfntbig5p-cmex24m (0.1-3) frozen unstable; urgency=medium

  * [debian/control]:
      - Now Depends: on xbase-clients instead of xbase | xserver
        to comply with the Debian XFree86 Great Reorganization.
      - Standards-Version: 2.5.0.0 (no change).
  * [postinst]:
      - Check to make sure that "$1" = "configure".
      - Changed /tmp/fonts.alias to $fontdir/fonts.alias, thanks to
        hints from Lintian.
  * [postrm]: Modify /etc/X11/XF86Config only if the file exists.

xfntbig5p-cmex24m (0.1-2) unstable; urgency=low

  * [debian/control]:
      - Now also Depends: debianutils (>= 1.7) because /bin/tempfile
        is used in both postinst and postrm.
      - Upgraded to standards version 2.4.1.0 (no changes).
  * [postinst,postrm]: Spent hours learning sed, revising postinst and
      postrm.  The postrm script should now properly remove the FontPath
      "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/chinese" setting from /etc/X11/XF86Config
      if /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/chinese/fonts.dir does not exist,
      so xdm would not restart like crazy.  :-)
      Thanks to Aaron Brick <abrick@dcc.uchile.cl> for reporting this
      rather disturbing bug.  (closes: Bug#25860)
  * [debian/rules]: Updated according to the new example rules file
      provided by the new debhelper.
