This archive contains source code for generating the Terminus Font.

The character set covers ISO8859-1, ISO8859-5, ISO8859-15, Windows-1252,
Windows-1251, IBM-437, KOI8-R, KOI8-U, KOI8-E, KOI8-F, Bulgarian-MIK,
Paratype-PT154, Paratype-PT254, IBM-855, IBM-866 and Macintosh-Ukrainian.

LEGEND:

The file names are structured as follows:

ter-u<SIZE><STYLE>.bdf

where <SIZE> is 14, 16 or 20, and <STYLE> is n for normal, b for bold and v
for EGA/VGA bold. The last style is for 8x14 and 8x16 only and makes use of
the eigth character matrix column.

USAGE:

The Makefile provided is an untested and probably buggy example. It is
included only to show what tools are required to generate fonts from the
source code.

NOTES:

The Linux/UNIX console varianth of the Terminus font is distributed with a
slightly lower, and the X11 Window System varianth with a slightly higher
version number than the source code.

You can use and distribute this archive freely and without charge under the
terms of the GNU General Public License version 2.0 or (at your choice) any
later version.

To avoid name conflicts with another products named "Terminus", the archive
should be distributed as "Terminus Font", not "Terminus".
