GNU Info (mh-e)DeletingDeleting Your Mail ------------------ To mark a message for deletion, use the `d' (`mh-delete-msg') command. A `D' is placed by the message in the scan window, and the next message is displayed. If the previous command had been `p', then the next message displayed is the message previous to the message just deleted. If you specify a prefix argument, you will be prompted for a sequence (Note: Sequences) to delete (for example, `C-u d frombob RET'). The `x' command actually carries out the deletion (Note: Finishing Up). `C-d' (`mh-delete-msg-no-motion') marks the message for deletion but leaves the cursor at the current message in case you wish to perform other operations on the message. |
