Various error messages in the system will normally be
issued as internal email. To ensure that these will actually be
read, one should create an
/etc/aliases. Remember the command
newaliases every time you change this. An
example that should cover most eventualities is:
Many programs for Linux may be found at Sunsite,
which is usually quite busy. But there are
many mirrors and every time there is a reference to
ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/.. one should try to
use a mirror close to home, e.g.
ftp://ftp.nvg.unit.no/pub/linux/sunsite/...
