25.4.5 Runtime Loading of DLLs
DLLs built using the recipe described in this chapter can be loaded at
runtime in at least three different ways:
Using the Cygwin emulation of the POSIX
dlopen/dlclose/dlsym API. Note however that
the emulation is broken up until at least version b20.1, and
dlopen(NULL) doesn't work at all.
Using the Windows
LoadLibrary/FreeLibrary/GetProcAddress API.
Using libltdl, which is covered in more detail in Using GNU libltdl.
