This specifies the directory of the default directory for, open, save as, add directory etc. If you open a catalog file in a different directory as the 'Default working path', all subsequent dialog boxes will open in this different directory. Load optionsLoad file at boot. Check this option to automatically open a catalog file when GTKtalog launches. If checked, you must provide the catalog file path either by typing it or using the browse button to select one. Save optionsAutosave. Check this option to periodically save your catalog files. If checked, you must specify the 'Time between autosaves (in minutes)'. This number can be between 1 and 60 minutes. Compression. Compression ratio of your catalog files. Compression ratio ranges from 0 (no compression) to 9 (maximum compression) Save only used categories. All unused categories are deleted from a catalog file when it is saved Keep a backup file. A ".bak" file resides in your catalog file directory with the last working version. For more information see Chapter 3 |
